Abstract Craniofacial reconstruction is one of the methods utilized in forensic anthropology; the technique models the appearance of the face from the skeletal remains. A succeful scientific Craniofacial approximation aiming to reproduce a face requires well knowledge of population facial traits, characteristics , proportions and averages of over soft tissue thicknesses, overlying known craniometric landmarks, nasal indices, lips shape also eye position. All these facial features among different populations as they exhibit individual variations. Extracted facial data will vary in relation to age, sex, body mass index and population affinity. This study focuses the attention on the radiographic assessment of soft tissues in relation to the sex and population affinity. It provides the first data set on FSTTs set for the Nubian Egyptians and also enrich the FSTTs data for the Egyptian population |
