Abstract Objective: To assess the therapeutic efficacy of laser therapy on immunity for acute lymphatic leukemic patients during chemotherapy. Material and Methods: Forty patients have Acute Lymphatic Leukaemia (ALL) were participating in the study. They were recruited from the Medical Oncology department in (National Cancer Institute Cairo University). Their ages ranged from 25 to 40 years, patients of both genders were randomly subdivided into two equal groups in number .group (A) Study group=Laser group: (11 men, 9 women).They received the laser in addition to physical exercise in the form of (chest physiotherapy, manual active free exercises, and home program). group (B): Control group (7 men,13 women ).They received physical exercise in the form of (chest physiotherapy, manual active free exercises, and home program) This study started and continued for three months as the ALL patients received two sessions per week, they were assessed in (PaO2, PaCO2, leukocytes, B-lymphocytes and neutrophils) assessment applied 3 times (pretreatment followed up after six weeks (post-1 treatment) and the end of the study after twelve weeks (post-2 treatment) |
