Abstract The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of the dietary fermented extracted from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (nucleotides, beta- glucans) ”Hilyses” on the seed production and health of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) broodstock as well as on seed survival and growth performance. The trial was performed in a hatchery during the spawning season and continued in the laboratory to monitor the growth performance in fry and fingerlings. Two groups of broodstock were distributed in 22 tanks (3x8x1 m), with 40 females and 16 males/tank. The fish were fed two levels of Hilyses (0.4% and 0%) during the spawning season from March until August. |
