Abstract The aim of this thesis to maximize condensate production and adjust Reid vapor pressure (maximum RVP =12 psia) of the condensate product of an existing GOSP in Gulf of Suez. After reviewing various textbooks and scientific articles about oil and gas processing, in addition to natural gas liquids recovery, the best way to maximize condensate production is by recovery of the NGLs available in the GOSP gas product. Four different revamps are applied on the existing GOSP, the first two schemes based on low-temperature separation after applying self-refrigeration technique while the third scheme depends on low-temperature separation of condensate after refrigeration using external propane cycle and the fourth scheme is just re-routing of existing condensate stream. The existing GOSP and the four revamps are simulated using Aspen HYSYS (V8.6) and validated against the actual GOSP data to ensure accurate results. Then preliminary economic analysis is conducted to check their profitability |
