Abstract Controlled hypotension is used to reduce intraoperative bleeding and to provide a satisfactory surgical field exposure. So, it is widely used in oro-maxillo-facial surgeries, endoscopic sinus surgeries, middle ear microsurgeries, spine surgeries, some neurosurgeries, major orthopedic surgeries and cancer surgeries.
