Abstract In this work, an electrochemical sensor has been made for the determination of Profenofos (PFF), an organophosphrous pesticide, and it was also determined using a DNA complex, as it is known that organophosphrous pesticides break down DNA. Also, profenofos was determined in the presence of DNA with methyl blue and in the same two previous methods, chlorpyrifos (CP) and malathion (MAL) were determined. Finally, the pesticide Profenofos was determined after alkaline hydrolysis into phenolic derivative (electroactive compound) on the surface of the glassy carbon modified electrode with cobalt oxide, nano-particles, where it undergoes electrocatalytic oxidation which applied for its detection. Determination of profenofos in green pepper fruit is by constructing an electrochemical sensor using a molecularly imprinted polymer technique on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode. The electrochemical behavior of organophosphrous pesticide PFF was detected by formation of PFF–imprinted polypyrrole films which were electrochemically prepared on glassy carbon electrode (GCE) in aqueous solution of pyrrole, PFF and HClO4 as a supporting electrolyte. Detection of organophosphrous pesticides (profenofos, chlorpyrifos and malathion) by interaction with DNA only and by DNA intercalated with methylene blue. Determination of PFF organophosphrous pesticide in its hydrolyzed form by base hydrolysis reaction was studied at cobalt oxide nano-particles. Firstly, studying all suitable conditions for base hydrolysis . Studying the effect of pH on oxidation peak of hydrolyzed PFF (BCP)] was measured at GCE. |
