Abstract The present study is an experimental study that was done on 190 albino immunocompetant mice. They were divided into 4 groups control group, group infected with cryptosporidium parvum oocysts after chlorine treatment, group infected with cryptosporidium parvum oocysts after treatment with ultra violet rays and finally group infected cryptosporidium parvum oocysts after exposure to direct sun light. Cryptosporidium was inactivated after 8 hours exposure to sun light and after 4 hours exposure to ultra violet rays but showed resistance to chlorine disinfectant |
