Concerning PSV at 5 minutes after ICI, a statistically significant difference was found between Verapmil group and that in Phentolamine Group. In this study there was a statistically significant difference between the RI after ICI in the Verapmil group and that of the phentolamine group .Conclusion: Verapamil as an erectogenic agent may be a promising drug of choice in treatment of erectile dysfunction through intracavernosal route which act by blocking calcium channels, resulting in relaxation of the tone of the smooth muscles lining blood vessels, leading to blood vessel dilatation and thus promoting the inflow of blood achieving penile erection |
