Abstract The physicochemical properties of water and sediment during spring at Hurghada, Red Sea coast of Egypt stimulate a massive growth of Caulerpa racemosa and its associated seaweeds, so we studied water and soil physical and chemical properties. The study was interested in studying biochemical compounds and classifying natural compounds. It was also interested in separating natural compounds from Caulerpa racemosa extract by means of a GC / MS. The bioactivity of Caulerpa extract was tested against HepGII cell lines. We have also applied nanotechnology by using silver nitrate to increase the efficiency of the extracts against HepGII cell lines. |
