Abstract Refractory endometrium is a thin endometrium(<7 mm)which unsuitable for embryo implantation and is characterized by infertility, recurrent implantation failure, poor pregnancy outcomes and increase in pregnancy losses.Refractory endometrium is still refractory as effective treatment for thin endometrium is still a challenge that has been not solved. So, new therapeutic approach for increasing endometrial thickness would be required. Autologous PRP is suggested to treat refractory endometrium . It is derived from an individual’s whole blood that centrifuged to remove red blood cells and the remaining plasma has a 5 to 10 fold higher concentration of growth factors than whole blood. These growth factors have been found to promote natural healing response and regeneration of thin endometrium. The aim of the current study was to evaluate the efficacy of intrauterine instillation of autologous platelet-rich plasma for improving refractory thin endometrium in infertile women. |
