المستخلص The research deals with the study of aid and tents provided and developed for refugees and the afflicted by organizations and bodies concerned with their assistance. The study sheds light on the recent trends in design and usable for the development of these tents, such as kinetic, interactive, and responsive architecture, as well as the use of robots in architecture, with a focus on swarm robots and their characteristics, such as collective intelligence, and self-organization. This increases the ability to find new innovative solutions to the problems facing refugees in tents. Thus, the study aims to use self-assembly swarm robots to establish temporary shelters for refugees and the afflicted and to prove the efficiency of this technology. The study is based on three main axes: theoretical, analytical, and applied. The theoretical axis includes the first and third chapters, which establish the foundational framework that helps in formulating the proposed curriculum. The first chapter discusses the concepts and terminology of crises and disasters, and the organizations sponsoring refugees and the afflicted, with a focus on their services. While the third chapter discusses the recent trends in architecture, such as kinetic, interactive, responsive, and adaptable architecture, with a focus on the relationship of robots to architecture, in addition to searching swarm robots, their characteristics, and areas of application. The analytical axis aims to understand and analyze the actual applications of the basic aspects of the study to come out with the advantages and disadvantages of their use in the applied axis of the study. The analytical axis is applied through the second and fourth chapters. In the second chapter, an analytical study was conducted on the types of assistance provided to refugees and the afflicted, to come up with the advantages and disadvantages of these tents and the requirements that must be met in the design of the tents. While the fourth chapter reviews an analytical study of two selected models of swarm robots to research their development to come up with a new model that has the ability to achieve the research objectives. Whereas the applied axis works to transform the proposed approach from a mere theoretical basis to a simulation experience of the actual reality, by applying the results of the basic aspects of the study to a simulated model of swarm units, which is presented in the fifth chapter. The study ends with Chapter Six, where it reviews the most important theoretical and practical results, and recommendations |
