Abstract The aim of the study is to evaluate the relation between testicular volumes measured using ultrasound, sperm count and FSH to determine the testicular function in infertile Egyptian male. Material and methods: The study included, a total of 125 infertile and 100 fertile males (wife pregnant or delivered within 1 year) will be recruited from Andrology outpatient clinic of Cairo University Hospital (Kasr {u2013}Al Ainy). Total testicular volume of all subjects will be measured by scrotal ultrasound and sum of both will be added, after 3-5 days of ejaculatory abstinence the semen samples will be collected and subjected for microscopic and physical examination according to WHO 2010. Serum FSH will be measured for infertile group only. For evaluation of relationship between total testicular volume and sperm count the subjects will be divided into 3 groups defined by testicular volume a sum of both right and left testis |
