Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the application of acidulated phosphate fluoride gel and bleaching agent on the surface roughness and color change of Zirconia IncorisTZI , IPS e.max press , Lava{u2122} Ultimate Restorative and VITA ENAMICceramic materials. {u2022}40 discswere constructed from the four ceramic materials with standardized dimensions (10 mm{u00D7} 10 mm{u00D7}2 mm). group I : 10 samples of zirconia InCoris TZI discs. group II: 10 samples of Vita Enamic discs. group III : 10 samples of Lava{u2122} Ultimate Restorative discs . group VI : 10 samples of IPS e.max press discs . {u2022}Each group was further subdivided into 2 subgroups according to the treatment applied : Subgroup A: APF was applied on the surface of 5 samples. Subgroup B : Bleaching agent was applied on the surface of 5 samples. 1.23% acidulated phosphate fluoride gel was applied on Subgroup Afor 8 minutes treatment,which is equivalent to 1 year of treatment clinically.While 30% hydrogen peroxide in-office bleaching agent was applied on subgroup B for 45 minutes (3 cycles), 15 minutes for each cycle, according to the manufacturer{u2019}s instructions. |
