Abstract This study was introduced to evaluate the effect of different ”self-etch” adhesive systems application techniques, either with agitation (active application) or without agitation (inactive application) in a single or double layer on adhesive-dentin bond strength. Objectives: This study was conducted to examine: 1- The microshear bond strength of two different self-etch adhesives with inactive and active application. 2- The influence of number of the applied adhesive layers either single or double layer on the adhesive-dentin microshear bond strength. 3- The interfacial morphological appearance of the self-etch adhesives with the different application techniques under scanning electron microscope (SEM). 4- The durability of self-etch adhesives bond strength after 24 hours and 3 months |
