Abstract
This thesis investigate in vitro cytotoxic and apoptosis and antiviral effects of the main food of Spalax leucodon Egyptiacus as a daily meals ,that was Asphodelus microcarpus , two fractions of the extract of this plant (ethyl acetate &precipitate ) were used on human melanoma A375 cell line using SRB assay .Although the effects was more significantly clear in both fractions in cytotoxicity ,the viability of both fractions has different realized ,flow cytometry analysis of A375 cell line revealed an increase in S phase in EtOAc 100ug/ml and G1 phase in PPT 100ug/ml and decrease in G2/M phase in EtOAc 100ug/ml and G1 phase in EtOAc 83ug/ml .In apoptosis induction of EtOAc fraction showed potent effect in EtOAc 100ug/ml and 83ug/ml and Necrosis has a high ratio also late apoptosis in 100ug/ml In addition, the effect of fractions that was tested on viruses (low pathogenic coronavirus229) to clarify the effect of the plant immunologically, and it clarify that the fraction PPT has a medium effect on the virus.
