Abstract Post tensioning is considered one of the structural systems of prestressed concrete. In this thesis, we are seeking to increase our understanding of two-way post tensioned flat slab to determine the most effective span for the floor system under gravity loads. The main objective of this thesis executing a parametric study to put and plot primary design aid curves of two way post tensioned flat slab according to the Egyptian Code regulations and requirements (ECP 203). These curves can be a quick check in the determination of span length to help the designer get easily the prestressing steel amount (𝑘𝑔/𝑚2 ) on the slab to do a cost analysis on his feasibility studies of the project.
