Abstract
The average values of heavy elements are measured in some artificial and traditional cosmetics commonly used in Libya and Egypt, while the radioactivity concentrations are measured only in some traditional cosmetics. As well as the annual equivalent dose of skin as a result of applying henna on the head, arms and legs one time a month is estimated using dose rate factors of skin for water, and this dose is calculated using MCNP (Monte Carlo N-Particle code) simulation model.
