المستخلص The study aimed to find out the impact of using the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in the decision-making process, by applying it to the Jeddah Industrial Area – Saudi Arabia. The study population is represented in all workers in organizations working in manufacturing, and the study population reached 56,127 and the researcher relied on a random sample of workers with a size of 381 individuals. The researcher used a survey list prepared for the purpose of collecting data on the variables of the study that represent the organizational resource planning (ERP) system and the decision-making process, and to analyze the results of the field study, both Pearson’s correlation coefficient and the regression analysis method were used. The researcher found a statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of the organization resource planning system (ERP) and the dimensions of the decision-making process, as well as the existence of a significant impact of the dimensions of the organization’s resource planning system (ERP) represented in (compatibility between ERP operations and the organization’s operations, training, allocation and engineering of the system), on each dimension of the decision-making process represented in (identifying the problem, identifying alternatives, evaluating alternatives, choosing the optimal alternative, decision-making and follow-up). |
