المستخلص This study aimed to determine the nature of the effect of job withdrawal on the relationship between work stress and job performance. 384 employees of local administration units in Mansoura city were relied on, and the number of correct questionnaire that were analyzed reached 350 questionnaire. The results of the study found that the stress of work in its two dimensions only (the nature of the work, the ambiguity of the role) affect the dimension of (job withdrawal) and that the rest of the dimensions (role conflict, role burden) have no effect on (job withdrawal). There is also a statistically significant relationship between work stress and job performance of employees. While job withdrawal only dimension (psychological withdrawal) affects the dimension (job performance) and that dimension physical withdrawal has no effect on (job performance). There are also no differences in the responses of employees in local administration units in Mansoura city in work stress, job withdrawal, job performance according to demographic variables. |
