المستخلص Devising exercises inspired by some of Mounir Murad’s melodies and making use of them in teaching the Instrument of the Oud to the specialized student Music is considered as an aesthetic language that addresses the feelings and conscience of all peoples regardless of their different languages and cultures. It is an integrated art like any other art that is based on several important and essential elements to show its form. Mounir Murad is considered as one of the most important musicians in Egypt as he was a creative artist. He was a composer, singer, actor, and dancer. Since he grew up in a familial atmosphere full of beautiful art, he left us a great wealth full of different types of music included lyrical forms, soundtracks, various performances, dances, and many more things, So, he is considered as a comprehensive and innovative artist. The research consisted of the first chapter: the research problem and previous studies, and it consisted of two sections: The first topic: defining the research problem and it includes: Research introduction, research problem, research objectives, research questions, research significance, research limits. Research procedures, which include: (research methodology, research sample, research tools). Then the research ended with the search terms. - The second topic: includes: previous studies related to the subject of the research. Chapter Two: Theoretical framework, consisting of: - The first topic: the biography of Munir Murad (his upbringing, his artistic life, the style of composing his works, an inventory of Munir Murad’s works. - The second topic: the concept of elicitation and innovation, the concept of exercises, the definition of the Oud instrument, an overview of the most famous contemporary players of the Oud instrument to Munir Murad. - The third topic: an overview of Arabic music (description of the syllabus of the Oud instrument, the concept of teaching, its method and types of teaching, introducing the Faculty of Specific Education and the specialization of music education, the concept of the specialized student and the followed curriculum.
