المستخلص The current research aims to enhance academic motivation and immersion in learning among secondary school students through the Quick Response (QR) Codes - Marks styles in an augmented reality environment. The current research adopted a quasi-experimental design method and was conducted on a sample of 40 students from the second year of secondary school at Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Joint Secondary School under the administration of Damanhur Al-Jadida Educational Directorate. The students were randomly assigned to two experimental groups: the first experimental group studied using the Quick Response (QR) Codes style in an augmented reality environment, and the second experimental group studied using the Marks style in an augmented reality environment. The research tools consisted of two scales: the first scale to measure the level of academic motivation, and the second scale to measure the level of learning engagement for secondary school students. The scales were applied before and after the experiment, and the experiment was implemented, results were monitored, and they were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods with the use of the SPSS software for social sciences. The results of the research confirmed the effectiveness of the Quick Response (QR) Codes – Marks styles in an augmented reality environment in increasing academic motivation and immersion in learning among secondary school students. The research can be used to inform future studies on an applied level, especially if future research supports these results in terms of designing biology curriculum with the Quick Response (QR) Codes style in an augmented reality environment, given its positive impact on increasing academic motivation and immersion in learning, as well as the cognitive achievement and skill performance of secondary school students. |
