Abstract Understanding the nutritional physiology and adaptation in dairy farms by easy and simple parameters is very important to improve productivity and reduce economic losses. Improving our ability to detect and predict health disorders, such as metabolic disorders in dairy cattle can allow for improved management and treatment strategies as well as a better understanding of the potential causal effects of transition cow disorders, warranting further investigation. |
