Abstract
Entamoeba histolytica is a common pathogenic protozoan distributed throughout the world. It is considered as a health problem both in Egypt and worldwide. Amoebiasis is the world’s third mortality leading parasitic cause after malaria and schistosomiasis. Around 180 million individuals are affected globally, with 40,000 to 110,000 people dying yearly from amoebiasis.
