Abstract Peptides have favorable effects on immunity, blood pressure, cholesterol, and hormone regulation and have antibacterial and antiviral properties. They are also simple to digest and absorb. The manufacture of feed and biomedical research both use peptides for their physiological regulation and biological metabolic capabilities. For newly developed anti-cancer drugs, the field of peptide therapies appears promise. Benefits include the simplicity, speed, and ability to modify peptide production. Peptides are used in cancer diagnosis and treatment because they are selective for tumour tissues, are less likely to acquire resistance, and have low toxicity. In the present study, we have evaluated the anti-cancer activities of Car-NIO and Mel-NIO against MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells and EAC-bearing mice (solid tumour). |
