Abstract • Our study was designed to evaluate the impact of coronary stent length and diameter in patients with STEMI undergoing primary PCI, on short term clinical outcomes Long stents were associated with more incidence of SF-NR, need for predilataion (due to long lesions), more impairment in EF and more SWMA score index. Also long stents were associated with more ACS incidence during 3 months follow up Regarding stent diameter, we found that there is no significant differences regarding echocardiographic finding or clinical outcomes in different stent diameter groups. Different stent type showed non-significant differences except for increased total mortality in Biomime group. Killip II classification, number of predilatation, SWMA score index, diastolic dysfunction and height of ST elevation were predictors for SF-NR incidence Duration of chest pain, time to device, pre TIMI flow , post TIMI flow grade ≤2, killip II classification, side branches compromization , EF, SWMA score index and diastolic dysfunction grade are all predictors of more MACE incidence. |
