المستخلص The current study aimed at developing EFL writing skills and reducing writing anxiety among second-year students at Islamic and Arabic Studies Faculty by using e-journaling. The study adopted the quasi-experimental design. The participants of the study were selected from second-year students enrolled in the Islamic and Arabic Studies Faculty, Al-Azhar University, Damanhour Branch (N=70) during the second term of the academic year 2022-2023. The participants were divided into two groups, one control group (taught using the regular method), and the experimental group (taught using e-journaling). The instruments of the study included an EFL pre-post writing skills test and an EFL writing anxiety scale. The EFL writing test and the writing anxiety scale were pre-administered to the two groups to make sure that they were equivalent in the EFL writing skills and the level of writing anxiety. After applying the treatment, the EFL writing test and the writing anxiety scale were post-administered for both groups. The results of the study revealed that e-journaling was more effective than the regular method in developing EFL writing skills and reducing writing anxiety among second-year students at the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. Therefore, the study recommended that e-journaling could be used to develop writing skills and reducing writing anxiety among students.
