Abstract The Experiments were conducted in the Laboratory of Feed Manufacture Engineering, Faculty of Fish Resources, Suez University. The experiments were conducted to study some manufacturing parameters of animal feed local ribbon mixer including machine performance and study the effect of operating parameters on mixing efficiency and feed quality during 2022- 2023. A mixer machine is essential for creating animal feed with a homogeneous composition. The current mixer has detected long-term production, inhomogeneous agglomeration, and small agglomeration. To shorten the entire process of producing animal feed. Therefore, to speed up the entire process of making animal feed and to increase mixing efficiency with less time spent mixing. The mixing efficiency, conglomerate percentage, discharge percentage, production rate, energy requirements, durability after pelleting and total consumed time were tested. |
