Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma is the fifth most common cancer worldwide and is associated with various clinic pathological characteristics such as genetic mutations and viral infections. Therefore, numerous laboratories are looking to identify new putative markers for the improvement of Hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis and prognosis, and This study presents the characterization and biological evaluation of iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4) and chitosan-coated iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles (CS/Fe3O4) on HepG2. The prepared materials were analyzed using various techniques, and their potential cytotoxic effects on HepG2 cancer cells were investigated. |
