Abstract The purpose of this study was to ascertain the duration of blood pressure control then the end of gravidity for patients with severe preeclampsia. As a control, 40 patients in group B got labetalol alone, whereas 40 patients in group A received both labetalol then resveratrol. All of the patients consume been admitted to the Alexandrian EL-Shatby Maternity University Hospital Egypt.. Patients amid the ages of 20 then 35 who were more than 30 workweeks pregnant then had signs of severe preeclampsia were selected. All patients with severe preeclampsia received intensive medical care in order to prevent complications for the mother then the fetus. Fetal then maternal outcomes were seen in both groups.. We found that adding resveratrol to labetalol significantly reduced the amount of time needed to control blood pressure then extended the time until delivery when compared to those who had taken labetalol alone. Regarding NICU admission, baby birth weight, APGAR score, maternal difficulties, or delivery style, there were no differences seen amid the two groups. It was discovered that resveratrol added to labetalol helps those suffering from severe preeclampsia control their blood pressure; nevertheless, the mother’s then the fetus’s health is unaffected. |
