Abstract

Four field trials were carried out in the farm of Gemmieza Agricultural Research Station, El-Gharbia Governorate to evaluate the performance of some sugar-beet varieties tolerate to powdery mildew caused by Erysiphe betae compared with the susceptible verity Herakl, as well as the effect of some fungicides i.e. Nativo, Azostar, Folicure, Aliette, Prolecus, Eminent and Sulfur. Also, chemical inducers i.e. ascorbic acid, zinc sulfate, sodium dibasic and potassium dibasic, In addition to Study the effect of some herbicides i.e. Mito, Betasana Trio and Freno in reduce infection powdery mildew disease in sugarbeet during 2019/2019 & 2019/2020 seasons. The four trials were doing used randomized complete block Design (RCBD) of three replicates.
