Abstract

STEMI is a very important key component in cardiovascular diseases burden. COVID-19 infection creates a pro thrombotic state and has a direct negative effect on STEMI patients. STEMI with concomitant COVID-19 infection has a worse prognosis as patients were presenting late in their STEMI course and also due to delay in door to balloon time.
