Abstract
Aim of study: Derivatization and determination of drugs with terminal
alkyne group in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids
based on click reaction.
Methods: Spectrofluorimetric method and High-Performance Liquid
chromatography with fluorescence detection.
Results:
• Spectrofluorimetric quantification of Ethinylestradiol in spiked
human plasma after reaction with 4-azido-7-nitrobenzofurazan.
• Preliminary pharmacokinetic study of Ethinylestradiol in rats
by High-Performance Liquid chromatography with fluorescence
detection.
• Spectrofluorimetric determination of Levonorgestrel in breast
milk after derivatization with 4-azido-7-nitrobenzofurazan.
• Spectrofluorimetric determination of Rasagiline mesylate in
human plasma after derivatization with 4-azido-7-
nitrobenzofurazan.
Conclusion: All the proposed methods have been developed,
optimized and validated.
