Abstract Cinema and architecture are two distinct art forms that have long captivated audiences with their ability to shape our perception of space, evoke emotions, and tell stories. Yet, the interrelationship between these disciplines remains a fascinating and relatively unexplored area of study. So, this thesis investigates the interrelationship between cinema and architecture, aiming to shed light on their mutual influences and explore the concept of cinematic architecture, cinematic techniques spatial narrative, and the creation of spatial experience, The study aims to uncover the potential benefits and challenges that arise from the intersection of cinema and architecture. By exploring this interplay, we can gain a deeper understanding of how cinematic techniques, storytelling, and visual aesthetics intersect with architectural design, spatial narratives, and spatial experiences. The study shows that the combination of these two art forms offers unique opportunities and complexities that enrich both fields. To achieve its objectives, the research employs a comprehensive methodology, involving reviewing relevant literature, exploring the connections and influences between cinema and architecture, analyzing case studies, and examining the relationship through film analysis focusing on spatial composition, narrative, and storytelling. By employing these methods, the research seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of how cinema and architecture interact and shape each other. |
