Abstract
Cancer is an abnormal cell growth disregarding the normal rules of cell division resulting in
proliferation and uncontrolled cell division. It has the ability to invade or spread to other body parts
when it is referred to as malignant or cancerous.(1)
According to present ranks and recent trends, cancer has surpassed cardiovascular diseases as
the primary cause of death in most countries all over the century.(2) Furthermore, as reported by the
American Cancer Society, 1,918,030 new cancer cases and 609,360 deaths in the United States were
estimated in 2022.(3) Despite efforts to control it, cancer still a highly aggressive and lethal disease.
In both economically progressing and/or advanced nations, it represents one of the serious medical
challenges. Evidently, progress in expanding new cancer strategies should be taken in
consideration.(4)
