Abstract ICL surgery is growing more popular nowadays due to the increasing desire of younger generations to get rid of their glasses while having contraindication to other refractive surgeries as LASIK and PRK. The aim of the study is to report on the phakic ICL vault and biometric characteristics of the anterior segment of eyes implanted with phakic ICLs. The study was conducted as a cross sectional study on 91 eyes of 56 patients having performed ICL surgery previously, some having the ICL implanted in the vertical meridian while other in the horizontal one, and attending the outpatient clinic as a routine follow up visit. Patients underwent UBM examination on the day and data collected was then compared together with the preoperative available data. |
