Abstract .The increasing demand for electric energy in recent years has highlighted the need for improvements in existing power grids. As a solution, there has been a growing focus on renewable energy sources to reduce operational and environmental costs associated with traditional fossil fuel-based energy generation. Microgrids, which consist of decentralized renewable energy sources and loads, have emerged as a viable option. These microgrids operate in synchronization with the main grid but can also function independently in island mode. They enhance supply security, provide emergency power, and seamlessly transition between islanded and connected modes. |
