The second: A control group: It included (50) female students who studied the chapter (The Chemical Basis of Life) according to the usual method. The researcher prepared the experimental treatment materials, which are: “The teacher’s guide, and the activity brochure, in addition to preparing the research tools, which are: The academic achievement test in the chapter (Chemical Basis of Life) for the first year of secondary school and Motivation to learn biology scale”. The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of using mobile learning applications in Teaching biology to develop achievement and motivation to learn for secondary school students. In light of these results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposed research. Among these recommendations is the necessity of using mobile learning applications at all educational levels, especially the secondary stage, and supporting the content of biology books with scientific and practical activities and questions that contribute to developing students’ motivation to learn biology. |
