Abstract
Egyptian beach sands are almost of alluvial types and not of the primary deposits. The principal aim of the present research has been the elaboration of a suitable effective and economic method for separation of monazite, Zircon, ilmenite and rutile. For several decades, there has been a great interest in Egypt in the possibilities of using selective flotation for separation of economic minerals of beach sands.
