Abstract
The Sizing Process is important for the production of ahigh quality warp which is an essential requirement in high speed weaving.The economics of the weaving process depends to alarge extend on loom stops caused by yarn breaks. In this artical . the viscosity characteristics of ricestarch ,and synthetic size such as Acrylate , PVA and thier mix in different ratios is in vestigated . The properties of warp bean yarns sized with differnt sizing agensts were studied to find out the relationship between yarn properties and sizing agent viscosity.high speed weaving machines require yarns of high quality to improve the economics of weaving process. it is important to run the weaving machines at high speed and high efficiency. this requires reduction in loom stoppages caused by yarn breaks. warp stop breaks and weft stop breaks repreasent the major part causing the decrease in the loom efficiency.
