Abstract
Most of present work has focussed on the synthesis of some new functionalized-2,3-pyrrolidinediones, which possess considerable synthetuc and pharmaceutical interest. Also, the synthesis of some new pyrrolo-heterocycles, with concentration on the pyrrolo-pyrimidines, pyrrolo-diazepines and pyrrolo-diazocines has been investigated. The work in this thesis is separated into two main parts : 1- Synthesis of functionalized 2,3-pyrrolidinediones and related Bi-pyrrolidines. 2- Synthesis of some condensed pyrrolo-heterocycles.
