Abstract Iron overload the main feature of transfusion dependent anemia Progressive accumulation of iron in the body results in organ damage The diagnosis of iron overload was rested mainly upon demonstration of iron stores in the bone marrow or livert biopsy. In this study we have evaluated multiple peripheral blood toots through clustering analysis and tests of redundancy in order to find the most efficient group of tea-to that could predict the body iron stores status. In order achieve we have studied 39 subJocto sufferino from hemolytic anerriia and 1 0 norma 1 persons as a control group. According to the etiological diagnosis the 39 cases were classified into 4 groups: Thalassomia group ncludes 17 cases (10 ?Iand 76 eleven of them had been done liver biopsy G6PD defic ency group includes 9 cases (all of them weret) Sickle cell anemia group includes 3 cases (2 and 1 (~) -m’ H.
