Abstract The present study comprised fifty one untreated lymphoma patients divided into : * Patients with HD, 21 cases (16 males, 5 females) with a mean age of 33.5 years , further subdivided according to Rye histopathologic classification into : 5 lymphocytic Predominance , 8 nodular sclerosis, and 8 mixed cellularity. * Patients with NHL, 30 cases (1 8 males, 12 Females) with a mean age of 36.5 years , further subdivided according to National Cancer Institutes Working Formulation into : 7 low grade, 18 intermediate grade and 5 high grade lymphoma. Both groups are further categorized according to the presence or absence of B-symptoms into : * With B symptoms: 14 HD and 19 NHL patients. * Without B symptoms: 7 HD and 1 1 NHL patients. Twenty normal healthy individuals of matched age and sex were included as a control group. |
