Abstract
The literature on mtal-hydrazide complexes and physico-chemical tools applied in their study have been reviewed. Hydrazide complexes of formyl, acetyl, propionyl, butyryl, benzoyl, salicyl, succinyl, malonyl, palmityl, p-methoxy benzoyl, o-methyl benzoyl and Girard’s D with cupric chloride, bromide, acetate and sulphate were prepared in absolute ethanolic solution. The stoichiometries of the isolated complexes, were determined by elemental analysis.
