Abstract The present work is assigned to study the corrosion behaviour of 304 stainless steel in Aqueous Media (3M hydrochloric acid solution and the inhibiting effect of Glycine <U+2013> N <U+2013> (P <U+2013> Phenyl) Ethylester compounds. The obtained results showed that the inhibition efficiency of these derivatives increased by increasing their concentration and decreased by raising the temperature, so that the adsorption of these derivatives is physical adsorption and follow Frumkin?s Adsorption isotherm. The inhibition efficiencies also increased by addition of KBr, KSCN, KI. Some thermodynamic parameters are computed and discussed. The influence of chemical structure of these this compounds on their inhibition efficiencies was discussed. |
