المستخلص In modern age, most countries worldwide are engaged in the international trade system in line with their various roles, share in foreign trade and size of surplus of trade in national income. Balance of commercial transactions signifies the actual index for the economic status of the country and an indication of the level of dependability on other countries. Through this thesis, the researcher sheds the light on trends of Egyptian international trade throughout half a century, during which several economic and political changes worldwide, in general, and in Egypt, in specific. Such changed had effects on the commercial balance in Egypt, its production frameworks and commercial relations with other countries. Reasons for selection of this topic: Due to lucid lack of geographical studies tackling the issue of foreign trade, from an inclusive prospective, away from addressing pivots of exports or imports. This thesis consists of 6 chapters under two sections: Section I: Development of Egyptian Foreign Trade and Affecting Factors: -Chapter 1 deals with the development of Egypt’s foreign trade and factors affecting it. -Chapter 2 tackles factors affecting Egypt’s foreign trade. Section II: Outlets for Egyptian Foreign Trade and its Commodity Construction: -Chapter 3 addresses outlets of foreign trade-Chapter 4 discusses the geographical distribution of Egyptian exports-Chapter 5 tackles the geographical distribution of Egyptian imports-Chapter 6 is the conclusion of the thesis on studying some encountered problems in Egyptian foreign trade. |
