Abstract
Field work for the most part is consisted of detailed measurements, descriptions, studying the internal structures and sampling Using spot samples technique, one hundred and fourty one samples were collected mainly from different sand dune types. Sand ripples, sand heaps, sand shadows, sand hammocks and sand flats are also represented. This study indicates that most of the above mentioned eolian deposits have significant textural properties which show some variations both on the regional and local levels. The regional differences are mainly associated with the variation in distance from the source area. Locally, texture of the sediments varies from place to place on the different parts of the eolian sand bodies.
