Abstract Numerical analysis plays great role in obtaining approximate derivatives and definite integration of a function, that is by using several numerical methods. In this thesis, wavelets are used for obtaining approximate dth derivatives of a function, and approximate value of a definite integration of a function. That is by constructing algorithms depending on the scaling function expansion of a function. To show the efficiency of these algorithms, several examples are used, the results of these examples are high accuracy comparing with the results obtained by using some classical numerical methods. |
