Abstract Urinary tract infection is common and causes serious effects. Interlukin 8 is a specific cytokina secreted. Locally at the site of inflammation. 820 samples of urine from infants a children of both sexes were collected to study urinary tract infection and the ratio of elevation of Interlukin 8 and the study was done at Mansoura Children University Hospital in the out patient and in patient cases. ELISA is enzymatic immunoassay were used on 76 samples of cases 12 E. Coli , 12 Klebsiella , psedomonas , 10 proteus , 10 staph. aureus , 10 staph. Epidermis, 10 staph. saprophyticus. As well as 10 cases as normal control. Level of interlukin 8 was shown as sensitive indicator with urinary tract infections, increases with diseases and decreases with cure. |
