المستخلص The research sample is comprised of 650 fourth-year students of education in all arts and science sections (general and basic) as well as the staff members at Mansoura University’s Faculty of Education in all academic and non-academic departments. Research findings •Incorporating the concepts and dimensions of technological education in computer teaching courses. •Implementing technology in the presentation of academic and non-academic courses to students at all sections in the Faculty of Education. •Designing a specialized course of technological education including aims, academic features and foundations, moral values of handling technology and identification of its pluses. •Identifying the requirements of technological education at the Faculty of Education at financial, human and organizational levels. •Stressing the necessity for the students and the faculty alike at the College of Education to own a computer so that they attain technological education. Recommendations -Effectuating the Educational Technology Center within the Faculty of Education and furnishing it with necessary apparatuses and equipment so that it continues working under the leadership of professors of educational technology. -Effectuating the technological activity through workshops and symposia for the students and the faculty at the College of Education. -Establishing electronic display monitors for news and instructions all over the College. -Holding training sessions for the International Computer Driving License (ICDL). -Constituting an electronic forum for students of education so that they exchange their views, present their problems and find the solutions. -Changing academic courses into electronic courses to be highly accessible on the Mansoura University’s website. |
