Abstract Digital watermarking has become a necessity to face the problem of copyright violation arose with the digital information revolution. Many watermarking techniques have been proposed in both spatial and transform domain trying to reach a satisfactory level of robustness against attacks. The present work is concerned with robust invisible digital image watermarking techniques in the transform domain. Seven watermarking techniques using DCT, Wavelet, Wavelet Packet Transform (WPT) and Contourlet Transform (CLT) are implemented. Three of the implemented techniques were published in the last few years and the rest of them are modified versions proposed in this work in an attempt to achieve the highest level of robustness. It has been proved that the modified versions presented in the work utilizing WPT and CLT succeeded in providing a higher level of robustness. |
